Caju
Overview
CAJU is an excessively minimalist four-bedroom home in Teton Village, Wyoming, offering 2,400 square feet of thoughtfully curated living space on 0.51 acres. Designed by renowned Jackson- and Bozeman-based CLB, this architectural retreat showcases a refined materials palette of steel, wood, and concrete, creating a warm yet striking mountain-modern aesthetic.
Built into a hillside on the lower slopes of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, CAJU offers unique sightlines through the treetops with views of Sleeping Indian and Jackson Peak. The home’s name comes from a Brazilian fruit with a rusty red exterior and sweet white interior—expressed here through corten steel siding and white larch and concrete finishes.
The heart of the home is the open kitchen, dining, and great room on the main level. Clean lines and expansive windows frame the surrounding forest, while a gas fireplace and television create a cozy gathering space. The dining area seats 8, and patio access connects indoor living with the wooded backyard and custom-furnished decks.
CAJU accommodates up to 10 guests across 4 bedrooms and 4 full baths. The primary suite, located on the north end of the home, features a queen bed and a spa-inspired bath with a stainless steel deep soaking tub overlooking the backyard, a separate shower, and a private WC. Three guest suites are positioned in the southern wing: one bedroom with two twin/twin bunks (sleeping 4), and two guest bedrooms each with a queen bed and en-suite bath with large walk-in showers and stainless steel vanities.
The lower level includes a well-equipped workout room with weights, mats, and an elliptical, as well as a laundry room with washer and dryer. Additional amenities include a full kitchen, WiFi, central air, gas grill, fire pit, home gym, one car garage, and pets considered. Please note: Windows do not have screens.
Located in a residential neighborhood in Teton Village, CAJU is fairly private and close to national parks, walking and cycling pathways, nearby grocery or market options, and area spas. While not ski-in/ski-out and without Grand Teton views or water features, the home’s architectural design and serene wooded setting create a distinctive Jackson Hole experience.
