Overview

Set on 53 private acres in the Castle Creek Valley, just 11 miles from downtown Aspen, Elk Mountain Lodge blends frontier-inspired architecture with elevated amenities and sweeping views of surrounding peaks and the valley floor. This extraordinary retreat offers rare privacy, immersive nature, and effortless access to Aspen’s dining, skiing, and cultural attractions.

The estate spans eight distinct living structures anchored by a 16,631-square-foot main lodge, complemented by multiple guest cabins and a state-of-the-art standalone fitness center. From nearly every vantage point, uninterrupted mountain and valley views frame the experience, creating a serene yet grand mountain sanctuary.

Inside the main lodge, expansive living spaces include a chef’s kitchen, a theater room with altitude control and supplemental oxygen, a great room, and multiple dining areas designed for gathering. Outdoors, guests enjoy fishing ponds, a scenic stream crossed by a rustic bridge, and two oversized outdoor hot tubs surrounded by panoramic alpine scenery.

The Main Lodge features eight bedrooms, six full bathrooms, and four half baths, with accommodations including one king bed, one California king, four queen beds, and three twin bunks. Northstar Cabin offers three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a living area, and a full kitchen with one king bed, one queen bed, and two bunk beds.

Silver Queen Cabin includes one bedroom with a loft, one bathroom, a living area, and a kitchen, with one king bed and two twin beds.

Gentlemen’s Ridge Cabin features one bedroom, a private bathroom, a small living area, and a kitchenette with one king bed.

Homestead Cabin offers one bedroom, one bathroom, a small living area, a kitchen, and a fireplace, with one queen bed, ideal for two to three guests. Last

Dollar Cabin features one bedroom, one bathroom, a small living area, and a kitchenette with one king bed.

Treehorn Cabin includes one bedroom, one bathroom, a small living area, and a kitchenette with one full bed.
