Overview

Glacier Grande is an extraordinary lodge consisting of two private homes, Glacier Lodge West and Glacier Lodge East, with panoramic views over the valley and the Steamboat ski resort. The two residences offer 7 bedrooms accommodating up to 18 guests.

Enter either residence from their respective front doors on the main level of the home or through their 2-car garages. The homes do not have connecting doors.

Both sides of this home have grand, open Great Rooms with outstanding views. Each feature roaring gas fireplaces, dining tables for the whole family, game tables, sitting areas with large flat-screen televisions, wet bars, and breakfast bar seating. Each home also has a large deck with seating for outdoor dining and BBQ grills. On the Glacier Lodge West, you’ll find a hot tub on the lower level with stunning views of Yampa Valley.

Glacier Lodge West Bedrooms:

Master Bedroom

Cathedral ceilings, cute little patio and valley views from your King bed. This room also has a Twin daybed for a little one to share the room. The master bathroom offers dual vanities, a waterfall showerhead, separate w.c. and plentiful closet space.

Jr. Master Bedroom

King bed with the ability to split into 2 XL Twin beds, with mountain views, lots of light and en suite bathroom.

Second Jr. Master Bedroom

King bed and en suite bathroom.

Bunk Bedroom

This room sleeps five with a Twin/Twin bunk bed and a Queen/Twin bunk bed in this cozy room with its own flat-screen television.

Glacier Lodge East Bedrooms

Master Bedroom

Upstairs from the living area, you will find the master bedroom suite. Lounge around in the King bed and watch the slopes or enjoy the fresh air on the patio. En suite bathroom with shower and attached private sitting room with a comfortable leather Queen sleeper sofa.

Back down on the main level are the two other bedrooms. Each room has a King bed that can be split into two XL Twins. One has an en suite bathroom and the other, directly across from the hall bathroom with a full bath and shower. Both bedrooms have direct views of Steamboat’s ski slopes and large, flat-screen televisions.

You will also find laundry rooms, heated garages and boot warmers in both of these homes.

For smaller groups of up to 6-12 guests we can offer the option of either of the chalets individually.

Please note that these homes are not connected internally and access to each side is from the main entry door.

Ski access is easy with an on-call shuttle service to pick you up from the door and deliver you to Gondola Square. The shuttle also runs to downtown Steamboat to the shopping and restaurants (winter only).
