Welcome to Konik Chalet, a stylish mountain retreat in Steamboat Springs with modern design, a rich mountain-inspired palette, inviting indoor and outdoor living spaces, and beautiful views of the Yampa Valley. Ideally located, the home offers easy access to the Wildhorse gondola, Steamboat Tennis & Pickleball Complex, and miles of paved walking and biking paths.
The main level is the heart of the home, where tall ceilings and large windows create a bright, welcoming space. Relax in the comfortable living room around the gas fireplace, or gather in the gourmet kitchen, featuring a large island, stainless steel appliances, a gas range, generous counter space, and ample cabinets.
Yampa Valley views provide a beautiful backdrop from the kitchen. In warmer months, sliding pass-through windows connect the space seamlessly to the outdoors, where guests can enjoy morning coffee or après appetizers in the covered seating area in front of a gas fireplace. After a day on the slopes or trails, retreat to the upper-level deck and unwind in the private hot tub.
Four comfortable bedrooms sleep up to 10 guests. The main-level primary king suite offers deck access and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower and dual vanity. On the entry level, a queen bedroom is paired with a hall bathroom featuring a shower/tub combo and single vanity. Downstairs, a second family room creates an inviting setting for movie nights, games, or simply spreading out. This level also includes a queen bedroom and a bunk room with a twin-over-queen bunk and twin trundle; these bedrooms share a bathroom with a walk-in shower.
For added convenience, the home includes air conditioning in the Great Room on the main level, a full laundry room, and parking for two vehicles in the garage and one in the driveway. A 4WD vehicle is recommended in winter.
Guests at Konik Chalet have access to Trailhead Lodge amenities, including the year-round pool, hot tubs, fitness room, game room, and communal firepit. The Steamboat Tennis & Pickleball Complex is a short walk away, while the private Wildhorse gondola is approximately a five-minute walk from the home and connects guests to the main gondola.
