Welcome to Mountain Joy, located just south of historic downtown Breckenridge, featuring unstoppable views of Breckenridge ski area and the Ten Mile Range, this 5-bedroom home has everything you need and more to make your vacation memorable.
A beautiful great room boasts high ceilings and large windows, allowing abundant natural light and sightlines to mountain views you will see from comfortable couches while you enjoy time with family. A large stone fireplace is another focal point, making this open space perfect for entertaining. A large kitchen invites the cooks in your group to utilize ample workspace, a center island with seating and plenty of counterspace to serve up family meals. A dining area nearby has seating for eight, or off the kitchen is a breakfast nook with seating for six and a small desk area.
In warmer months, plan on al fresco dining outside on a large deck with dining table, gas grill and plenty of seating to soak up the sunshine and views. Continue down the wrap around deck to a firepit with seating and a private hot tub for a well-deserved dip after a long day of adventure.
On this level is the primary bedroom with a king bed, gas fireplace, TV, mountain views and a beautiful ensuite bath with soaking tub. A laundry room is nearby for your convenience.
On the upper level in a loft area overlooking the great room with a rowing machine, sitting area and a desk, perfect for remote working, exercise, or to escape with a good book.
Downstairs is where the fun continues with a large recreation and movie room, complete with foosball, a wet bar, gas fireplace and projection screen and couches for family movie night. Guests will enjoy three king bedrooms on this level and one double twin room, each with its own TV. A second washer and dryer is also on this level.
Other amenities include a garage for two cars, driveway parking, private WIFI and Sonos sound system. Four-wheel drive is required in the winter months.

Located just south of historic downtown Breckenridge, Mountain Joy is a convenient 5-minute drive to Main Street's many dining options, shopping, and family-friendly activities. Return home and enjoy the private and quiet surroundings. The legendary ski slopes of the Breckenridge Ski Resort are just 2 miles away, accessible by shuttle. Golf, fishing, tennis and hiking trails are nearby, creating something for everyone.
SHUTTLE
This home enjoys complimentary use of the shuttle, mid-November through mid-April, using the convenient shuttle app to schedule pickups. The use of the shuttle is on a first-come, first-served basis.
IN HOME AMENITIES
This property has WIFI and comes fully stocked with paper products (paper towels, toilet paper, tissues), bathroom toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap), and detergents (dish, dishwasher, and laundry) as well as clean bed linens and towels. In addition, the kitchen is stocked with aluminum foil, plastic wrap, trash bags, sponges, soap, salt and pepper, coffee, tea, Nespresso, cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils, and standard small appliances.
This home does not have air conditioning. Colorado's cool summer nights will keep this home comfortable by opening windows after the sun goes down, and then closing the windows and blinds during the day. Utilizing the overhead fans, if available, keeps airflow moving, and additional floor fans can be found in many bedroom closets. Can't live without it? A/C units may be available for rent for an additional fee.
