The top-floor great room is a showpiece: soaring vaulted ceilings, expansive picture windows framing the forested slopes, and a glowing fireplace that invites you to gather after an exhilarating day outdoors. Plush seating, warm textures, and natural light create a space that is both sophisticated, elevated, and inviting. A private den with a large flat-screen TV offers a second lounge area for family entertainment. Plus a convenient powder room.
The fully equipped chef’s kitchen flows seamlessly into the dining area, where seating for eight at the live-edge table ensures memorable meals together. There are an additional four barstools at the kitchen island from which is a perfect perch when entertaining guests for dinner. From here, step out to the spacious back patio with outdoor seating and your private hot tub—an ideal setting for unwinding beneath the stars.
The residence accommodates up to 10 guests across four beautifully appointed bedrooms: Maximum 7 adults. The primary suite is on the top floor with a queen bed, vaulted ceilings, and ensuite with walk-in shower. Bedroom Two has two twin beds (convertible into a king). Bedroom Three has a queen bed. Bedroom Four is a kids room with a twin over double bunk plus an additional twin bed. A full bathroom with bathtub/shower combo and double vanity ensures comfort for groups and families shared with all three bedrooms on the 2nd level.
The ground-floor entryway is spacious and inviting with a modern mud room from which to warm your winter gear after a day on the slopes, and a built-in boot dryer. Here you can access the attached garage where you have plenty of space to store your skis, snowboards, bikes and lake gear - this truly is a year-round resort. The garage can fit two small to medium-sized vehicles, with another on the small driveway. Additional parking may be available with a parking pass and is first come, first serve.
For adventurous skiers, Northern Lights offers ski-in/ski-out access via a private trail connected to Whistler Mountain’s Lower Olympic run. A staircase dubbed “100 steps” links the neighborhood to the slopes, creating an alpine approach that feels like your own secret gateway to the mountains. Guests preferring simplicity may drive or taxi two minutes to the Whistler Village gondolas.
Northern Lights is ideally situated: elevated above the energy of the village yet within a 5–10 minute walk to Whistler’s finest dining, boutiques, galleries, and après-ski. Guests enjoy quick access to the Whistler gondola, Audain Art Museum, Whistler Golf Course, and vibrant village nightlife—all while retreating to the privacy of a serene mountainside enclave.
Additional Features include a private double garage and driveway (two small to medium vehicles), year-round hot tub and alfresco deck. No air conditioning in this unit, but fans are in every bedroom if needed. The mountains are cool in the evenings, even on a hot summer day. Ski access is subject to snow conditions (typically mid-December to March). Family-friendly rental amenities available on request (Pack ’N Play, high chairs). Strictly no smoking, parties, or pets. Must be 28 or older to rent or be in a family group.
