With Cordillera managing year-round road maintenance and plowing, this home is easily reached despite its elevation and wonderful seclusion. Its three levels of living space are a showcase of mountain-modern architecture, offering such thoughtful details as an indoor gas fireplace, radiant floor heating, steam showers, and a luxury kitchen with professional-grade appliances (including a second refrigerator) and a separate pantry.
As you make yourself at home, you'll find a number of plush sitting areas where you can unwind after a day of golf, tennis, or Nordic or downhill skiing. The main level is home to a formal living room and a cozy den (both of which are warmed by fireplaces), a family TV room adjoining the kitchen, a grand dining room, and even a home office perfectly separated in its own corner of the house. The lower level has a den of its own with another TV, a wine fridge, and a popcorn machine, while the upper floor is a great escape for kids, offering shelves of books and games and several cozy play nooks.
Outside, you'll find gorgeous spaces that are equally special, including a covered porch, a wood-burning firepit encircled by Adirondack chairs, and an in-ground private hot tub - all of which boast commanding views of the mountains. The separate "Car Barn" also offers TVs, a game room, a trampoline, a Ping-Pong table, and a cornhole set for your entertainment.
At night, you'll have five bedrooms and a bonus sleeping room to choose from. The primary suite is on the main floor, featuring a grand view, a fireplace, and an expansive en suite bathroom with a soaking tub and a separate steam shower. The upper floor's two adjoining bunk rooms - each with an en suite bathroom - are ideal for children, while the lower level hosts two more bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and an extra sleeping nook that doubles as another office space.
