Retreat on the Creek is an idyllic and exceptionally private sanctuary set on 26.83 Acres in Jackson, Wyoming, yet less than 4 miles from Jackson’s famous Town Square and its many shops and restaurants. With a creek running through the property and mountains rising in every direction, this five bedroom home offers an unforgettable Jackson Hole experience for up to 14 guests.
As you arrive, pavement gives way to gravel and open pastures, with aspen and pine trees surrounding the home for added seclusion. In summer, wildflowers dot the landscape; in winter, snow blankets the expansive grounds. Autumn brings glowing aspen on Munger Mountain and the chance to hear elk bugling nearby. From the deck, enjoy morning coffee or an evening drink while listening to Spring Creek flow through the backyard.
The 6,500 Square Feet residence is thoughtfully designed to maximize Grand Teton views, which can be enjoyed from the great room, dining area, and even the wet bar. The main level features an open great room with a wood burning fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen with KitchenAid and Sub-Zero appliances, bar seating for 5, a breakfast nook with seating for 8, and a dining table with seating for 10. A media room, office, laundry room, and powder room are also located on this level. The gas fireplace shown in the media room photo is not functional.
The home offers 5 Bedrooms, 9 Beds, 4 Full Baths, and 1 Half Bath. The primary suite occupies its own wing on the main level and includes a king bed, deck access, Teton views, a double vanity, heated floors, an oversize walk-in shower, and a deep soaking tub. Upstairs, guest accommodations are divided between two wings. The north wing features a king bedroom and a twin bedroom sharing a bath with dual vanities and a walk-in shower. The south wing includes a king bedroom with a deep soaking tub and walk-in shower, as well as a bunkroom with 2 Twin/Full Bunks and a bath with a double vanity and shower/tub combo. Bed Configuration includes Sleep Positions in Beds 14 with Kings 3, Twin/Full Bunks 2, and Twins 2.
Outdoor living is just as impressive, with a deck that runs nearly the length of the home, a hot tub, gas grill, and expansive views of the Grand Teton. The property offers fishing on property, a private setting, water feature, and access to nearby National Parks, walking/cycling pathways, area fitness center, area spa, and nearby grocery or market.
