Ski-in convenience meets mountain-home comfort at this Snowmass Village vacation rental, set right on the slopes with a private hot tub among its standout amenities. Skiers and snowboarders can walk straight out the door and down to the lifts in winter — ambitious guests can even ski off at the end of the day and walk back up to the house — though most visitors will find it easier to drive down to the base for parking, lift access, and the gondola. Head out on foot to the nearby intermediate run, or make the one-mile drive down to the village base.

The location holds up well beyond ski season, too. Hiking and biking trails, restaurants, and shops are all within walking distance. Roaring Fork River rafting and fishing are about 33 miles out, and hot air balloon rides and the weekly rodeo are also within reach. Time your stay for festival season and you're close to JAS Aspen/Snowmass, the Aspen Music Festival, and the Aspen Food & Wine Classic.

Inside, rustic and modern styles blend across hexagonal tile floors and tongue-and-groove pine on the walls and ceiling. The main living area, on the middle level, centers on a large wood-burning fireplace set in natural stone, with soft seating and a big area rug — perfect for game nights or movies on the living room's cable TV. Step outside to unwind in the private hot tub after a day on the mountain.

The main-level kitchen nook comes fully equipped, from major appliances down to a slow cooker, microwave, coffeemaker, and coffee grinder, plus a dishwasher for easy cleanup. The dining table seats ten, or take the meal outside through the French doors to the back deck. A second full kitchen on the lowest floor gives that level its own self-contained studio suite, with a central dining table, ample appliance storage, and a sitting area with a sofa and chairs facing a cable TV.
